Proxmox Cloud Backup is a private, owner-operated integration that connects a home server's backup workflow to Google Drive using OAuth. It is not a public backup service or a Google account sign-in portal.
What the integration does
- Transfers encrypted server backup data into Google Drive for off-site recovery.
- Uses Google OAuth authorization to access backup files created or opened through the integration, within the permissions granted by the account owner.
- Helps the owner restore historical backups after a server or disk failure.
Important: Backup content is encrypted locally by the backup software before upload. This informational website neither accesses your Google account nor collects credentials.
